ICONS XXI | 2014–Present | Digital Archival Pigment Prints on German Etching Paper | 14" x 14"
The ongoing series – ICONS XXI – aim to visually encapsulate contemporary experiences and occurrences facing humanity in the 21st Century. The images employ techniques of universal graphic icons and symbols, to be clearly understood across cultures, as well as offer a visual, nonverbal historical archive. They also serve as a commentary on the ubiquitous presence of computerization and the mass-produced digital design aesthetic in our daily lives. All of which affect the degree to which people perceive each other and interact with one another.
EYEWITNESS: Endangered Species | 2017 | Aluminum Light Sculpture | 30" x 16" x 4.5"
Since the dawn of time, Wild Animals and Humans have coexisted together in natural balance, thriving in their ecological niches. However, through rapid Human development, today the animals are bearing the brunt of this advancement.
Whether it is through illegal poaching, overfishing, deforestation, and ever-expanding human communities, pollution, or rapidly increasing change in global climate, many Wild Animals now find themselves in danger of extinction.
As stewards of Nature, Humans, who sometimes forget that we too are animals, have a large responsibility to protect our Wild family in any way we can.
This piece highlights 11 endangered life forms ranging from land animals, to sea creatures, to coral, which is often called the “Rainforests on the Sea.” By bearing witness to the struggle of these animals to survive, I hope the work will serve as a reminder to help minimize the causes of their diminishing numbers.
EYEWITNESS, is a series of works aiming at bringing into focus important issues of our time.

Signs of the Times | 2010–Present | Road Sign 32x32 Limited Edition Archival Prints
Signs of the Times: On the Road of Human History
These series of Road Signs serve as a Historical record of pivotal Global World events, utilizing universally recognizable visual language of Graphic Icons and Symbols. By applying these characteristics towards depiction of the major historical event, I attempt to establish a broader pattern of the human nature regardless of the country or continent. Reinforcing the concept of our general interconnectivity and similarity, I apply the technique of repetition, by utilizing these icons and symbols and arranging them in their own unique context.
Keeping true to the purpose of signs, they are both, informational and warning devices, indicating who we are in the present and where we are headed. In these series, history truly has a way of repeating itself, albeit under different flags or set of circumstances.
